KAZAN CHAMBER ORCHESTRA LA PRIMAVERA OPENS NEW CONCERT SEASON
The season will open on September 14, with the concert “The genius of the red priest”

This year the orchestra La Primavera is 35. Founded in 1989 at Kazan university the ensemble is considered to be one of the best in Russia.

La Primavera opens a new season with the concert “The genius of the red priest”.

“We dedicate this concert to the genius of Antonio Vivaldi, to his fabulously beautiful and masterful violin concerts. You’ll hear the famous “The four seasons” and a range of concerts for two, three and four solo violins and orchestra, performed by the orchestra musicians and me. I will both perform solo and conduct simultaneously – in the baroque traditions,” – said Rustem Abyazov, the art director and chief conductor of the orchestra.

In the new season the orchestra continues all its famous projects: the festival “Musical review”, “Ten-year brotherhood, the festival L’arte del arco. The public will be treated to the jubilee marathon of the republic creative programme “Stars from Tomorrow”, a series of concerts

“Quiet songs of the great war”. “Abyazov-festival”, which takes place twice a year, will be dedicated to the synergy of music and poetry, and will be held with well-known Russian actors’ participation.”

The concert, dedicated to the orchestra’s anniversary, will be in 29 November.
