The Kazan Chamber Orchestra La Primavera performed in Star City for the first time. The world premiere of "Cosmic Suite", composed by Tomsk composer Valery Ermoshkin, was performed at the concert.

During the performance of the fourth part the art director of the Center of Astronauts informed the musicians that the international space station was online.

The hero of Russia, astronaut-researcher Oleg Artemjev, said that the astronauts of the ISS were well aware of what was happening on the stage of the Center of Astronauts. They also got an invitation to the concert, but of course they could not attend it.

“We are happy to welcome a wonderful orchestra La Primavera and the author of the Cosmic Suite in Star City. The Center of Astronauts stage is an ideal platform for the world premiere of this composition. Let “Cosmic suite” have cosmic success! ”- said Artemjev to the musicians.

The art director and chief conductor Rustem Abyazov congratulated the crew members on Astronautics Day.

“We are excited! I still can not believe that today we’ve managed to get in touch with space. Today we have touched the history, which we are proud of together with the whole country. It seems to me that today we’ve played especially inspired”, the conductor admitted.

Also he said that the public, consisting of astronauts and members of their families, welcomed very warmly the premiere of the new composition.
