The festival concerts will be given in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk
Musicians, representing various performing schools, have been invited to the festival L'arte del arco: "the king of the gypsy violin" and an improvisation master - Roby Lakatos from Belgium, a follower of classical performance traditions - Domenico Nordio from Italy, a dulcimer player - Jeno Ishtvan Listesh from Hungary, one of the best Russian viola player - Ilya Hoffmann and the famous State Quartet named after M. Glinka. Notwithstanding their very busy concert schedule they will come to Kazan.
"An excellent violinist - Gilles Apap, who came to Kazan, and all the participants of the previous festival set such a high performance level, that we simply do not have the right to compromise. I can say about all the upcoming performances without hesitation: "It will be a sensation!" - said the artistic director of L'arte del arco and Kazan Chamber Orchestra La Primavera Rustem Abyazov.
5 concerts will be given at the festival - in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk. There will be musical premieres in all the cities - it is one of the festival traditions. This year program of L'arte del arco will include - the works by Vivaldi, Rimskiy-Korsakov, Schubert, Elgar, Franck, Brahms, Britten and others.
Another tradition is - free masterclasses for students of music schools. Domenico Nordio, Ilya Hoffmann, Stepan Yakovich and Oleg Smirnov will give their masterclasses. They will be held in the Children’s music schools №№ 5 and 1 in Kazan.
